This calculator finds the conversion rate between each stage of a 4-stage funnel (Visitors → Leads → Qualified Leads → Customers), plus the overall rate.

Enter the number of people at each stage of your funnel to see exactly where you're losing the most prospects — the biggest drop-off points are usually where optimization efforts pay off most.

Each consecutive stage-to-stage transition (Visitors→Leads, Leads→Qualified Leads, Qualified Leads→Customers) gets its own conversion percentage, which is far more actionable than the overall funnel rate alone, since two funnels with the identical overall conversion rate can have completely different underlying bottlenecks — one might be losing people at the very first step, another might be losing them right before the final sale. The stage with the lowest percentage is generally the highest-leverage place to focus optimization effort, since improving the weakest link tends to move the whole funnel's output more than polishing an already-strong stage.

  • Stage-by-stage rates: each consecutive pair (Visitors→Leads, Leads→Qualified Leads, Qualified Leads→Customers) gets its own conversion percentage.
  • Overall rate: the full-funnel conversion from Visitors all the way to Customers, useful for high-level tracking over time.
  • Where to focus: the stage with the lowest conversion percentage usually represents the biggest opportunity for improvement, though the right fix depends on why people are dropping off there.

What if my funnel only has 2 or 3 stages, not 4?

Enter the same value for any stage you don't use as the one before it — that stage will show a 100% conversion rate and effectively drop out of the analysis.

Why is my overall conversion rate so much lower than any individual stage?

Overall rate compounds every stage together — even three strong 30% conversion stages in a row only carry 2.7% of visitors all the way through (0.3 × 0.3 × 0.3).
