Time Clock Calculator | Clock-In Clock-Out
If you clocked in and out more than once in a day (e.g. morning shift, lunch break, afternoon shift), enter each pair of times to get your total hours worked across all of them.
Each clock-in/clock-out pair is calculated as its own separate duration and then all pairs are summed together, which correctly handles a day split by an unpaid lunch break or a split shift. For example, 9 AM-12 PM plus 1 PM-5 PM sums to 3 hours plus 4 hours for a 7-hour total. If you only worked one or two periods, leave any unused pair's start and end time identical (e.g. 12:00 PM to 12:00 PM) and it will simply contribute zero to the total.
- Unused pairs: leave a pair's clock-in and clock-out at the same time (e.g. 12:00 PM to 12:00 PM) if you only worked one or two periods.
- Method: each pair's duration is calculated separately, then all pairs are summed together.
- Example: 9 AM-12 PM plus 1 PM-5 PM = 3 hours + 4 hours = 7 hours total.
I only worked one continuous shift — how do I use this?
Enter your single shift in the first pair, and leave the second and third pairs' in/out times identical (contributing zero).
Can I use this for a split shift with a lunch break?
Yes — enter the morning period as pair 1 and the afternoon period as pair 2.
